Pain or discomfort can be felt anywhere in the foot. Rest can reduce the pain but if ignored overtime, it may develop into a chronic problem.

What is Foot pain

What can cause Foot Pain?

Any part of your foot can be overused and injured. Some factors that can increase foot pain are your shoes that don't fit properly, underlying health conditions and sports injuries. Being overweight also adds to these factors.

To know the cause the of the foot pain, we must identify the location of the pain. Is the pain located at the heel, the ankle or at the ball of the foot?

Causes of Foot Pain

Some causes of foot pain according

  • Plantar Fasciitis 

  • Achilles Tendinitis 

  • Bursitis

Ball of the foot 

  • Bunion

  • Gout 

  • Morton's Neuroma

Bottom of the foot

  • Plantar Fasciitis (sharp pain between arch and heel)

  • Sprained foot

  • Flat feet (fallen arches)
